Today was the last day for the village bread delivery from Reeve the baker.

On behalf of the villagers, a big thank you to Sarah Steggel and Kat Gallagher who were instrumental in the set up and weekly delivery service. 

Reeves is now operating an online system, with delivery to your door. Delivery is Monday to Friday, and there are currently 250 slots per day available - with the potential for more.

The service is not being widely marketed yet - as they're giving priority to those villages who have used their weekly delivery service.

Delivery is free for orders over £10. Perhaps some neighbours may want to combine orders to avoid this.


Whilst we're probably all back to normal with supermarket shopping, this may be useful for those who don't want to queue at Reeves in town, or who can't get out yet.

Just let myself or Kat know if you need ongoing help with deliveries - or assistance with the new bread ordering system.
